UNDERSTANDING HUMAN BEHAVIOR

Hello:

This site has been brought into existence so that I can download my book called, --- Understanding Human Behavior, --- into it.   Originally I tried to enter it into one Post but since the book is just over 400 pages,  I suppose it is too long.   In any event it was not accepted as one Post.

As a result, I will be entering the book into the following 5 Posts.   The next Post will contain the preamble to the book which is about 18 pages.  The other four Posts will each contain one of the chapters in the book. --- ENJOY!!!

  1. While most individuals believe that there is a genetic component to mental illness, in many cases, the deflection of behavior that resulted in the person in question being labelled as mentally ill, is the real cause. And still further, that such causes are at all times negotiable in the hands of a competent person who understands how completely fear can deflect human behavior.

  2. We all have fears that deflect our behavior, but in most cases, they are not severe enough to cause someone to state that you are mentally ill. Rather, the fears are preventing you from being as competent and courageous as you can be once you overcome your fears whatever they may be.

What I am trying to say is that fears affect all of us in one way or the other and we will all be better off once we accept and react to fear in the proper way.

  3. I have been able to help a young man from out west who I will call Sam Jackson and who has been stuttering most of his life. It started when his parents would be yelling at each other when he was about 4 or 5 years old and he became afraid that he would say something that would make them mad at him. He kept these kind of thoughts to himself.

Now at the age of 35 I have finally been able to convince him how his problem started and in combination with a positive attitude, he has overcome his stuttering. However, many other fears form in the human mind because of the original fear of stuttering.

One of those fears leads to extreme shyness which makes it difficult to be successful when we enter our adolescent years and the desire to find a mate becomes central to our thinking processes.

While the stuttering fears have subsided considerably or completely, these other fears still remain to be resolved. But the stuttering that seemed to be beyond understanding has been almost completely overcome and so this helps to prove that fear is as important as I have been trying to tell you through all of the book. The biggest hurdle is to convince you that you should read the book. It is entirely up to you to decide!!!
